David M. Touchton

David M. Touchton is a lifelong resident of Lakeland, Florida. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from the University of South Florida in 1965. He is a member of the American and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has served on various committees of the Florida and Polk County Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.  He is a founding partner in The NCT Group created in 1978. The NCT Group went on to earn a Top Ten status in the Tampa Bay Region with offices in Lakeland, Winter Haven, and Sebring. During his career with The NCT Group, Mr. Touchton served as Managing partner, Community Development Officer, and Client Services Director.  He retired from accounting after a 47 year career.

In 2011 Mr. Touchton was appointed as Interim Regional Chancellor and CEO of the University of South Florida Polytechnic. A position he held until June 30, 2012.

Currently Mr. Touchton is the President and owner of ServPro of Bartow/Lakeland Highlands. He has 4 years of experience in the field and holds Water Damage Restoration Certification from IICRC. His office is certified in applied structural drying, water damage restoration, and lead-based paint activities and restoration.

His favorite part of the job is helping people who have experienced a stressful event and our ServPro team can make it “Like it never even happened”.

Mr. Touchton loves his community and has served on the Board of Directors for over 15 Polk County based institutions both public and private.  Presently he serves as a director on the following local boards:
